Credit Coordinator (Portland)

We’re looking for someone to join our Accounting team as a Credit Coordinator in Lake Oswego, OR office.

The Credit Coordinator, will maintain the Master client listing, service level agreements (SLAs) and credit approval for every client, interfacing and communicating with the Media Team and Clients to minimize risks of default to vendors. In addition, this position is responsible for reviewing and flagging discrepant or abnormal issues. There is growth potential into treasury and cash flow management or an analyst role, supporting client analytics.

Responsibilities:

Credit Administration

  • Track and maintain new client listing, credit limits and rolling receivables balances
  • Obtain applicable system reports with guidance and help from Accounts Receivable
  • Review and track incoming receipts and upcoming contracts and forecast receivable balances (DSO)
  • Manage collection efforts and weekly collection calls
  • Track and report billing issues and escalate, as necessary.
    Client Service
  • Work with the Media Team to facilitate new client paperwork, credit approval and contract adjustments
  • Weekly presentation to the Controller or CFO on the status of collections, credit changes and upcoming contracts
  • Communicate with clients as necessary to facilitate administration of the above

Communication

  • Maintains relationships with vendors and internal customers including the Media Team
  • Demonstrates outstanding in-person, oral and written communication skills
  • Exhibits good listening and comprehension

Qualifications

  • 0 -3+ years experience in accounting, bookkeeping and related financial services background
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated history of motivated continuous learning and self-improvement
