We’re looking for someone to join our Accounting team as Senior Accountant in our Lake Oswego, OR office.

The Senior Accountant has mastered basic functionality to deliver financial data and transactions in their area of specialization. They are performing basic tasks with ruthless efficiency, delivering timely results with confidence and minimizing assistance from Managers. Senior Accountants should be able to self-diagnose and fix errors independently.

  • Proficient in full cycle Accounting including mastery of both accounts payable or accounts receivable.
  • Understand the impact and execution of daily assigned tasks, including resolution of discrepancies, on balance assertions and GAAP reporting.
  • Review, investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, in a mature and professional manner.
  • Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations and assist with month end reporting.
  • Billing & collection of non-discrepant receivables.
  • Daily processing of cash deposits and competent on basic Treasury reporting of JP Morgan Access.
  • Maintain customer and vendor data.
  • Match invoices and receiving documents to purchase orders.
  • Assist in weekly payment and check disbursements.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close.
  • Review all subledger activity against contracts in order to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Review and investigate all billing and payable discrepancies.
  • Maintain documentation for all AP/AR activity and correspondence.
  • Provide accounting assistance to customers and vendors, by responding to inquiries in a timely manner, recommending actions and resolutions, and reconciling account issues.
  • Prepares and assists in the preparation of required State and Federal reports including 1099s and submissions for sales & use tax.
  • Reconcile bank statements.
  • Review expense submissions for expense coding and process reimbursements.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and requests for internal stakeholders.
  • Collect and manage documentation for the company LOC.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • 3+ years’ experience in Big 4 public accounting and Certified Public Accountant certification (CPA) is strongly preferred
  • Related financial services background.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated history of motivated continuous learning and self-improvement.
  • Demonstrates outstanding in-person, oral and written communication skills internally with colleagues and externally that are client facing.
  • Exhibits good listening and comprehension, cognitive and analytical.
  • Excellent and highly proficient in Excel.
